Lash Lift & Tint
A lash lift, also known as a lash perm, is a beauty treatment designed to enhance the appearance of natural eyelashes. It is a semi-permanent procedure that provides a long-lasting curl and uplift to the lashes, making them appear longer, fuller, and more prominent without the need for mascara or eyelash extensions.
What to expect
-
Preparation: The process starts with the client lying down on a comfortable treatment bed with their eyes closed. The technician begins by cleansing the eye area to remove any makeup or oils.
-
Shield Placement: Silicone or silicone rod-shaped shields are applied to the upper eyelids just above the lash line. These shields come in different sizes to accommodate various lash lengths and desired curls. The natural lashes are then combed and positioned onto the shields.
-
Lifting Solution: A gentle lifting solution is applied to the lashes, which softens and relaxes the hair's protein bonds. This allows the technician to mold and shape the lashes into the desired curve or lift. The solution is left on for a specific amount of time, depending on the client's natural lash thickness and texture.
-
Neutralization: After the lifting solution has processed, a neutralizing solution is applied to lock the lashes into their new curled position. This helps set the curl and ensures it holds. An amino acid nourishing treatment is also applied to ensure the health of the lashes.
-
Tinting (Optional): Some clients choose to have their lashes tinted after the lift to enhance the appearance of their natural lashes. Tinting can add color and depth to the lashes, making them appear darker and more defined.
-
Final Results: The shields are removed, and the lashes are gently separated and brushed into place. Clients typically notice a significant difference in the appearance of their lashes, with a noticeable curl and lift that can last for several weeks to a few months, depending on individual lash growth cycles.

Benefits of a Lash Lift and Tint
-
Enhanced natural beauty: Lash lifts emphasize and open up the eyes, making them appear larger and more awake.
-
Low maintenance: Lash lifts require minimal maintenance compared to eyelash extensions.
-
No need for mascara: Many people find they can skip mascara altogether after a lash lift, although it can still be applied if desired for a more dramatic look.
It's important to have a lash lift performed by a trained and certified technician to ensure safety and achieve the best results. Additionally, clients should follow any recommended aftercare instructions to maintain the longevity of the lift and ensure the health of their natural lashes.
