Powder Brows
& Permanent Makeup

Powder brows, also known ombre powder brows, are a type of permanent makeup technique used to enhance and shape the eyebrows. This method involves depositing pigment into the skin using a tattooing  technique, but it differs from traditional microblading or hairstroke eyebrows in the way the pigment is applied and the final result it achieves.

What to expect

  1. Consultation: During the consultation, we assess your facial features, skin type, and desired eyebrow shape and color.

  2. Color Selection: We will choose a pigment color that matches the your natural eyebrow color or complements your desired look.

  3. Application: Instead of creating individual hair-like strokes as in microblading, MT Brow Bar uses a machine to create a soft, powdery gradient of color throughout the eyebrow area. This technique involves tapping or stippling the pigment into the skin, gradually building up the color from the tail of the brow to the inner corner. The result resembles the look of softly filled-in eyebrows with makeup.

  4. Healing and Touch-ups: After the initial application, the brows may appear darker than the desired result due to some initial scabbing and healing. Over the course of a few weeks, the color will fade slightly, and the skin will heal. Most clients will require a touch-up appointment at 8-10 weeks to perfect the shape and color.

  5. Longevity: Powder brows are considered permanent and can last anywhere from 1 to 3 years, depending on factors such as skin type, lifestyle, and sun exposure. Periodic touch-ups are needed to maintain the desired look.
